Canon FS200 - Zoom Test (Location: Port Townsend, WA)

The 37X zoom has four speeds: - Variable - Fast - Medium - Slow The "slow speed" was used in the above test video. Also used in the test video: - Monopod - Windscreen (On) - Image stablization (On) The video was shot in 16X9 mode and edited in Windows Movie Maker (WMM does not support 16X9) The .MOD files were "dragged and dropped" from the FS200 to an external hard drive. (I can't figure out how to get video clips on an external hard drive using the ImageMixer 3 software bundled with the camcorder) NOTE: To import the .MOD files into WMM, "all files" must be selected, not "all media files". After editing, the video was encoded at 3.1mbps as a WMV file The background music used in this video, "JE TE Veux", was included on the Canon FS200 Instruction Manual CD If you are a Canon FS200 owner, come join the online resource community: canonfs200.ning.com
